I'm sure you've done this deliberately - put a video up of an area that I know nowt about!! ;)

But what I will say is a very big Thank You for letting us see part of the coastline that isn't usually visited. I guess you went down that road to West Murkle? Still, a magnificent piece of cliff scenery that shows that the cliffs don't have to be hundreds of feet high to be spectacular.

Got it now - you're by Murkle Bay. My Uncle lived just S of there in the 1970's

hi Whitwellian this area is called the spur just before murkel
it used to have an old sosus patrol base
just above for detecting the soviet submarines crossing the sonar nets
its also an old local fishing hole only a few knew of this place this was
before a lot of the older guys had fishing rods they would use canes
and there was a bush just above with a comunial cane stashed for anyone that
went to this secret spot lol not to many folk fish this place any more
except me & my uncle & maybe a handfull of others :)
