First off if this has already been reported please link to it and lock this thread. I searched and didn't find it .....

Here's an article from last week about a plane that struck at least (1) bird and had to declare an emergency and land due to fire. In today's "media feeding frenzy" over drones it's almost shocking that no one has "suggested" it was a drone instead of a bird.

Also it's key to note that a single bird caused this to happen and I'm imagine that one of our Phantoms could have done similar damage (because of the density of the LiPop not the airframe of the UAS)
