On page 14 of the Phantom 3 Professional User Manual v1.2 we can read this:

"The aircraft will stop its ascent and return to the Home Point immediately if the throttle stick is moved during the Failsafe RTH procedure"

The main reason we might want to throttle the stick would be to avoid potential obstacles. We DON'T want the phantom to stop its ascent when we push the throttle up...!!!! This is insane.

It stop's its ascent, not the RTH protocol. ie, if you throttle up, it will continue home at the new height. This is for the sole purpose of being able to avoid obstacles during RTH.

I think DJI should rephrase that part a bit, it's a bit confusing :confused:
