Telemetry question

For those of you who own the phantom 2 vision. I understand that the fpv on your phone is gone at 300 meters but you can obviously go farther than that with the remote without having fpv...does the app still show the telemetry such as battery altitude and horizontal distance??

The FPV signal carries all that info, so no FPV, no telemetry.

If I'm flying with a waypoint set, will it continue on that waypoint path even if the wifi signal between phone and phantom is lost? Sorry for all the questions....trying to decide if I want to get rid of my p1 for the vision

I'm pretty sure the answer is yes, it will continue to fly the waypoints even without a connection. I've seen some videos of some pretty long paths.

Yes it will continue on its mission because waypoints are stored in the phantom itself. Fpv is dependant on WiFi noise in area and line of site.
