Tap to Fly then loss of Signal

I tried looking and the manual but couldn't find the answer. My last flight I was testing out Tap to Fly and I started to get a weak signal after flying over a couple of trees. I quickly pressed RTH as I didn't know if it would have kept going without a radio signal.

If the signal drops, it'll slow to hover in place and then RTH after it establishes it is no longer connected.

As long as the home point has been marked and your Phantom has a GPS connection, it'll return to home any time the remote controller signal is lost for more than 3 seconds.
