Taking Phantom to Maldives - Any Issues?

Hi

Am planning a trip to Maldives at the end of the year and thinking of taking my Phantom 2 Vision+ along. Does anyone have any experience taking Drones into Maldives?

I did a search on this forum for "Maldives" and came up with nothing. Nothing much on Google either. Lots of videos on YouTube though.

which got me a little paranoid, as I losing my Phantom at the start of a vacation would be a real bummer.

As you said, you can find a lot of videos on Youtube. Send a message to the uploaders and ask them if they had any problems.
