I've got a Dell Venue tablet running Android 4.2 That's the same as my phone. The phone works great, but the tablet dowsn't show the video.

Anyone know what to do?

Got it working.

Dell had an update that their website did not mention. Ran system update on tablet and upgraded to Android 4.3.3 and FPV now works on the 8" screen.

if you use a tablet for fpv, does it display info on screen like altitude etc.?

Besure the tablet has wifi abilities. Also, use the AIRPLANE mode if possible. You must choose the connection for the FC40 and not some other divice.

Press the power button on the camera one time and release. The green light will start to flash.
Wait until the flashing stops. The tablet should begin to receive a signal from the camera.
Start the camera app on the tablet if it has not been started earlier.
The camera code should come up on the tablet.
Press the picture button on the bottom of the camera for about 2 seconds.
The word WAITING should appear on the tablet. The picture should be on within a few seconds.

weel I got the nexus 7, it wouldn't connect to wifi or the fc40, so I returned it.
