Swapping electronics from old phantom plus shell to new

I've bought a new P2 shell for a vision plus that I crashed some time ago and am not going to be replacing the gimbal on it. When I do this would I use the assistant 3.04' 3.06' to calibrate etc without any problems cause there will not be a camera attached?

Thanks CityZen, it was the first phantom I bought and I just ordered a new shell for it. Going to use it to learn to fly manual.
