I wanted to ask a question about selling stock footage from a quadcopter I have read a few articles about the law in the UK and also watched a video from the very helpful simon newton, but these only seem to mention filming for a production, so I just wanted to know where in the law does selling footage filmed from a quadcopter.

The stock footage website I use is Pond 5.

You can sell what you want essentially. However the law in the UK i believe is that you must hold a license to film for commercial purposes.

In the UK you cannot benefit commercially from your quadcopter unless you are a qualified pilot. This includes selling or offering for sale any footage you have shot.

There has been at least one fine issued for selling footage to broadcasters, so do bear this in mind.
