Spark/controller connection

This is driving me crazy, I have followed the guides I have seen on YouTube and the official guide from DJI but I still have problems
This is what I do
- run DJI Go 4 - since p4 version
- turn on Spark and controller
- plug in otg cable into phone and controller
- all I get is the enter device screen which takes me to the WiFi connection screen
After a few seconds it goes back the enter device screen until I press the 3 buttons on the controller and/or the power button on the Spark
It then normally starts up.
Frustrating as I have seen demos on You tube where WiFi is turned off and it all connects straight away.
What am I doing wrong, people?

It sounds like you're going through the process of linking the remote controller to the Spark. Once that has been done, you shouldn't have to do it again (as long as you don't fly the Spark with your mobile device over Wi-Fi).

As for the OTG cable -- if it does not connect right away, I unplug the cable from the remote controller and reconnect it. That always fixes the connection for me.
