***APRIL UPDATE***

Summertime is here and it's time to get in the sky and fly.

In the Los Angeles Area Aerialmatrix will be hosting UAV pilots to join us for some flying, selling and buying and good old conversation.

Where:: Woodley Park Apollo XI Model Aircraft Field
6201 Woodley Ave, Encino, California 91436

Starting Sunday April 6th and every first Sunday of the month going forward.
12:00 NOON

It's a great place to fly and meetup with other pilots and hobbyist alike. There is a section for fixed wing aircraft and a section for muti rotor aircraft as well so bring all of your toys and come hang with the boys!

I arrived 5 hours too late, but hope to make it to future ones now that I know it's going on every 1st Sunday!

It was lots of fun. There were quite a few pilots there but not sure who was there from this forum. There is so much interest in what DJI is doing we must have had half of the airfield paying attention to what we were doing.

I was there for around 3 hours, arrived around 11:30 am and it was a bit windy. Took out my TBS Discovery and did some test flights. Just got my gimbal operational the night before, but forgot to bring a fully charged battery for the GoPro.
