Southend Pier is a major landmark in Southend-on-Sea. Extending 1.34 miles (2.16 km) into the Thames Estuary, it is the longest pleasure pier in the world. The pier is a Grade II listed building.

Very Windy, on the limits for the Phantom for sure

Security came and moaned at us for filming over the pier at the weekend. It was crack of dawn before anyone was up and about. Apparently there is a law in place that you cant fly closer than 150 m to it.
