Yes, it's gonna be a bit big for a Phantom! Cam is about 300g, a pancake lens will be another 50g. Gimbal will be probably another 500g. Too heavy for a Phantom despite BM's ambitious photoshop. Perfect probably for an Inspire or a 550 hex. It all comes down to the gimbal. I've heard nothing of gimbal for it yet. Hopefully it is quietly in the works.
I am also a little torn over the 4K version which would require an external recorder. An Atamos Shogun would push it past the 550 size. I'd love to see a 2.8K version of the BM micro with integrated recording and 80 to 100MB/s data rate.
Maybe GoPro responds with better optics and a larger imager at the same $1k price point. Maybe even a micro 4/3rds!
