[SOLVED] Compass: Orientation on leg

Is it a must to have the compass exactly vertical and rotated as the original on the original landing gear?
The one Im looking at have carbonfiber-legs that are leaning outwards, not straight down as the original.
A little bit tricky to attach the compass on these new legs.

Im used to 3DR APM, ZeroTech YS, DJI Naza... there it is important to have the compass correct.

Perhaps you could wedge something triangular in between the compass and the leg to keep it perfectly vertical.
