smooth flying

So I realize this is blurry footage, it's not a Phantom and it's old. Some of this guy's stuff has been linked in here before. I was poking around his Vimeo and found some really good ones. Turns out the guy is an animator for movies and just happens to be a really good copter pilot/filmer.

My question is, is it possible to get this smooth footage with our P2s? I'm imagining we'd have to fly in ATTI mode to get it this nice . . .

I'd love to eventually have this half the confidence to fly like that.

Think it's impossible to fly FPV this accurately using the gopro as your eyes?

There is some great flying in there. I think there is also a little post production image stabalising going on too. I noticed a couple of times where there is a slight 'zoom' which is a dead giveaway. Still very impressive and very smooth.

I've been following him on Vimeo for a while now. He has some really good stuff on there. One of his video's show a before and after of the post processing stabilization effect. So yes, he does stabilize his footage in post. He's still a **** good quadcopter pilot though!
