Adam is pretty clueless from a forum administration/site coding standpoint so don't hold your breath.

I wouldn't be surprised if phpbb had a setting for that. But if not I could probably help him.

Command+click also works on Mac. I find that the most preferable way to browse because the user has full control over where he/she wants the link to open.
