Shooting Weddings

As a professional camera operator I have not worked in a market where camera operating pays $600 every 15 minutes. I generally make $600/12 but at $600 for every 15 minutes that would be a rate of $28,800 for a normal shoot day. If you know of a production that pays that I'd love to hear about it.

600 per battery or per event?

Yeah, I wish we could get that in SC. I am doing a wedding this weekend. I agreed to 4 batteries or an hour whichever comes first, (but I will probably do more) and when I am done, I am handing the video over on a jump drive for $300. No post production. It is an outdoor wedding so the footage will be some surrounding areas before the wedding and some very high up footage during the ceremony due to Phantom noise, and maybe some of the bride and groom leaving the wedding.
