Shooting video with sony nex 5n

Hei fellow Phantomers

I just bought a Phantom (great toy)

I am also the proud oner of a Sony NEX 5n camera, this i have mounted to the phantom, and got some great video.

However i would like to mount the camera in a better way than now (cableties to gopro mount and landing skids)

Is there anybody else on this forum who flies their Phantom with a Nex5 ?

I would like to see some photos/videos on how you mounted the camera to the phantom.

sony rx100 is about 250 grams
Transmitter and hdmi cable 70 grams
bit of plastic for the mount and elastic bands 30 grams
Difference in weight of 2500 battery instead of stock 30 grams

Just took the rx100 off the phantom and am re-rigging the gropro
I had a hard crash today nose dived into the gravel and it was a miriacle the rx100 seems to have survived.
I think a bigger quad is needed to reliably fly anything heavier than a gopro
However I used to be indecisive but now I'm not so sure :lol:
