Setting up P2 and ground station via btu

I am getting confused about what I need to use ground station with my p2. I currently have iosd, h2-3d, gopro3,fat shark fpv, and have ordered the btu (maybe prematurely ). I downloaded and installed ground station on my iPad mini. I am finding all kinds of info online about how to do this, but most seems too be contradictory or for setups that differ from what I have.

Can anyone direct me too a set of instructions that would work with the above configuration? ...or have I bit the wrong bone?

You're almost there. You'll still need the datalink. I would suggest you return your BTU and buy the GS datalink that comes with the BTU. It's about $200 complete.

I am working on canceling the btu order since I just ordered it yesterday. I have one concern about the ground station package. I fly with 2.4ghz and FPV with 5.8. I noticed that the GS is named the "2.4ghz Bluetooth ground station". Am I going to be worried about conflict on 2.4?

No, you should be fine. The 2.4 ghz will not interfere with your signal, that's the correct band you should use for the P2 and GS.
