Securing the gimbal for travel

I'm wondering if anyone has come up with a clever or effective means of securing the gimbal for travel. I have a GoProfessional case (bought it for my P1 but fortunately, the P2 still fits) but while the Phantom is well-protected, the gimbal is still free to move around. Since I often have to check my case, it is a virtual certainly that sooner or later someone will toss it in spite of the 'fragile' stickers I have all over the case.I wanted to order the travel bracket from http://www.raveaerialvideo.com/product/ ... l-bracket/ but they are out of stock. I have been putting a light cloth around the gimbal to dampen the movement some but this is hit and miss.

Any suggestions or comments are welcomed.
