Sd card read error

Hi,
I just recorded some footage (458 mB) in one shot. Just before that I took about 40 seconds and this is readable.
But with this file I get a message from windows media player : ' Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file.
Any ideas or programs to decode this?
Apppreciate any help.

It sounds like it wasn't finalised, you don't say which camera or phantom but anyway try putting the card back in, turn on, and wait a minute or so it might still complete it.
Always stop the recording at least a minute or so before turning off.

Say no more!
It worked - I reinserted the card, and after some failure to recognise that there WAS a card, I did another shot and now it's on my harddrive as we speak...
Good tip to finish recording before turning off.
Thanks so much - from a novice (of course - with mud on the rotors it says enough...)
BTW - it's a vision+ (awesome steadiness - makes me look good)
