I am looking for a locator for my P3P. I live and fly by quite a lot of water, and looking for any input on the Savior Waterproof unit, or any input on any similar units. I have not seen any issues on the Phantom 3 Pro flyaway, did DJI fix this issue with the new Phantoms?

Unfortunately this is not an issue DJI can fix. A "fly away" can still happen -- for example:
- Someone did not read the Phantom manual and/or failed to take the time to learn how to properly fly
- The mobile device battery dies and the pilot is not able to see the Phantom
- The battery is critically low and the Phantom lands at its current location
- The remote controller becomes disconnected and the home point was not properly marked
- The Phantom starts to RTH and the compass is not properly calibrated
I'm sure others can dream up some other possibilities. There are many.
