RTH question

I have a P3S. When I select rth either by toggling the s2 switch, hitting the icon on the screen, or just turning off the RC, The bird doesn't come back to the point where it took off from. It just lands on the spot under where it happened to be flying at the time the command was issued. When I turn on the rc and the bird I see the message "home point saved" on the screen while the bird is warming up. Ideas or suggestions about why this is happening would be appreciated.

Your bird must be more than 20m away from the home point. Otherwise, it'll land at its current location. That's by design.

Thanks. I was wondering about that. I'm less than 60 ft. when I initiate the rth order.

Make sure you have it in Return To Home here and set high enough to clear anything unless you just want it to land if your farther than that .
