Just got a notification from Autopilot saying that they have discovered a bug that prevents RTH from working on signal loss when using third party apps that utilize the DJI SDK. Recommended against using third party apps near the edge of RC signal. Autopilot says DJI is aware of the issue and is working on a fix for the next firmware update.
