Bit of a cross-post for those not wading through the Rotorpixel thread!

Ok, so here it is. My first edited footage using the Rotorpixel gimbal on the Phantom 2 Vision. Please don't judge the gimbal on my editing skills, they are not very advanced! Also there was no particular "story" here - it was just putting together a collection of shots. The light was lovely, and the dog enjoyed herself. ;)

Nice edit, foot looks stable but it does look like there is a lot of yawing, is that from the P2V or is there some lateral movement in the gimbal?

Mainly from my ham-fisted throttle stick work. I need to dial down the gains on the yaw axis, I find it almost impossible to change altitude without adding a slight yaw element. For filming (as opposed to hooning around) I think I could get away with turning them right down. Plus of course it's only a 2 axis gimbal. I've only had it 24 hours and I'm starting to want to go on the pre-order list for the third-axis upgrade when it's ready. ;)
