I have a fpr1000 dvr and have noticed that if the gorpo camera is on and not recording video that the video on this little dvr is much better quality than if I have the gopro on and recording video. Has anyone had this problem? I don't seam to notice it to much difference on the flysight monitor when I am watching it. It just seams weird that this makes a difference.
I am using a gopro hero + 3 black. One thing I have done is taped the contacts on the ribbon cable to stop the interference on the monitor. The monitor video looks good.

Wayne that is the same as my Lumenier DX600 DVR just being sold by different company. It work works great and have no complaints. If you decide to buy it and once you have it you might what to modify the cables depending on which monitor you are using. I have diagrams of the DVR harness and also for the black Pearl RC801 monitor. Hughie has source for connectors cable in the UK.

I have purchased one. I am saying that in my setup there is a difference in picture quality with the gopro recording vrs not recording when I view the video on the fpr1000 dvr. The video on the fpr look a lot better when the gopro is not recording, but on and sending my fpv the live video feed. I have also made up the new jumper cable. But there is no difference between my cable and using 2 cables with rc connectors.

Here are all the connector to make a cable. Seems the UK has the market cornered on these parts.
