I never knew airports sold drones! Can you imagine the buyers, anxious to try it out, driving just off airport property and sending them up?! Hmmm........ I've been wondering why all the recent hubub about drones around airports. DUH !!

".................. The retailers Brookstone and Hudson News have agreed to a request to pull drones off their shelves at area airports, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey said Wednesday.

The Port Authority had made the request on Tuesday, after NJ Advance Media asked the agency about the sale of the remote controlled craft at Brookstone and Hudson News stores at Newark Liberty International Airport.

"Everyone we asked has agreed not to sell drones at the (Port Authority's) airports," agency spokesman Ron Marsico said in an email this evening. The agency also operates John F. Kennedy International and LaGuardia airports in Queens............"

Landlord to tenant - "we're not happy with you selling these devices...."

Airport sponsors tend to have a very long memory when lease renewals come around.
