Like an idiot, I recently destroyed my motors by using the longer prop guard screws to secure the motors. If the prop guard is removed, these longer screws go up into the motors and damage the windings. I have ordered new motors but wanted to see if anyone has any tips on removing the old motors and soldering in the new ones. Anything I should watch out for? If anything can go wrong it seems I will be able to stumble onto it. I don't want to mess up something else trying to replace these motors, like damage the ESC boards, etc.
