Replacement remote options for DJI Phantom 2

I've never owned or flew a drone but have always been facinated by them. Came across one at a yard sale and couldn't resist. It didn't come with a remote. It is the dji phantom 2 model number P330Z. The woman I bought it from said as an alternative to the big remote I could buy something small that would control it through my phone via an app, but I couldn't find any info.

What will I need to get up and running the quickest and cheapest? Total newbie here.
