I believe that changing out the entire gimbal + camera unit is pretty easy to do and doing so would make your P3A into a P3P (change out the gimbal + camera and install new P3P firmware). However, the price is pretty high (~$500) and I think trying to sell my P3A gimbal + camera would be a somewhat tough sell.

But is there any way to change out just the cameras? i.e., the gimbal would remain the same.

The reason I ask is because there are sometimes P3P cameras that show up on ebay with damaged gimbals (from crashing) but the cameras transmit signal fine, etc.

It'd be nice if I could easily remove just the camera from my P3A and replace it with a P3P camera. My main reason for this is to get the 10 mb/s video feed (instead of 2 mb/s) to my FPV goggles.

I'm fine with keeping my slower P3A battery charger.

NO you need to change the gimbal as well.

The gimbal contains the extra processing to achieve everything.
