So I crashed my drone trying to fly (show off) into a wall :/. Everything seems fine but how to I reinsert the antenna which is on the leg of the compass. There seems to be something preventing me from snapping it back it.

Do I need to unscrew the compass to snap it back in?

Or use more force?

Can you share a photo so we can see what you're trying to fix?

You have to be VERY careful with the compass ribbon, you can damage it quickly.

The compass uses a cable in the form of a ribbon, it is not the flat data ribbon, but a ribbon nontheless.

This may help you see how it's done. Tried to find the best view, but this does show it being snapped in with the compass cable/ribbon: 55:10 mark.

I have tried with considerable force. My last thought it to remove the cover for the compass, snap back in and screw back in the compass cover.

I am also traveling now and I don't have a screwdriver of the size on me.

Does DJI include one in the original packaging?

Try inserting the bottom first, working in to the top.

No. You could just wrap some tape around the leg to hold the wires in place until you have access to your tools.

You have to carefully flatten the compass cable while slipping the antenna panel in (hard to do)

Inserting it bottom first

Looks like damaged already. The compass cable has a flat slot IN the antenna panel. It lays flat in the panel as you snap it in.

See my link above for new compass/landing gear.....
