This is a stupid question but i removed a dust particle from the contact pin on the vision with a toothpick can i do that? There is a little black spot on the side of the pin is that normal? I mean the small crowned contact pins those pins get me little paranoid from what i have read on that invalid battery problem.

The spot is very small i must use the flashlight on the phone and look closly to see it.

Cleaning the contact pins on the craft and the pad on the battery is suggested. I clean mine with deOxit and a q-tip about every 5 flights. It may well be the best preventative measure you can take to avoid battery errors and uncommanded landings or RTH's.

As far as the spot, if its just debris or stain.. Try and remove it with a needle. But dont damage the pins, springs, or how it contacts the pad and you should be fine.

If it is a defect that you believe is causing a problem.. Call your retailer and see about a replacement battery.

Good luck.
