Removable Prop Guard Q's

I just received a set of removable prop guards.

The hex bolts that came in the set are twice as long as the original bolts.

The motors still seem to turn fine by hand, but just wanted some advice before I fire her up.

Don't want to fry the electronics and or damage the motors.

The new bolts are 1/2" from cap to end. The original bolts 1/4".

They just seem way too long, even with the additional spacing of the holding bracket.

Any thoughts ?

I just removed them.

The blades come within a whisker of touching the guards.

The props would be torn to shreds by the guards at the slightest flexing.

No way would I use these.

Just trying things out.

Make sure you re-insert the original motor screws when taking them off
