Remote wont connect to app.

I pushed the s1 and s2 and record buttons and held them when starting my remote and did it again and shut it off and restarted and it works now.

I just wanted to come back and add that i replaced the usb module with the hdmi module and I am in the air! The latest fw seems to have fried the usb port. Once I had the hdmi module on, its usb was working fine. RC had failed the upgrade and was not updating from a usb stick so I (reluctantly) updated from the Go app (which DJI has updated twice since this issue started, btw) and just like that, green lights.

Thanks for coming back , I intended swapping over USB module on RC from a working one to try this - your feedback has provided some hope - just got to get the RC back as I had it in fir repair (and they cannot). Cheers

A bad USB cable can lead to this, as well. Some of the charging cables don't have all the conductors for data use.

Agreed, however in my case, one RC works and another does not, so it's not the cable unfortunately
