remote wont charge

My remote wont charge. It worked day one, but I couldn't fly because of rain. Did some brief tests on my covered porch -- it worked. Did software upgrade later. Now, over night it is flashing green light, after two hours of charging it is still flashing green. Cant find anything in the instructions or one line to help.

You have a P3S correct? Turn off the remote control. it blinks green when left on and inactive for 6 min. Also see page 25 of the user manual.
