Remote beeping and blinking red

I'm not sure if the recent HDMI module is part of the problem but my next step is to put old module back in
The manual states blinking red and D-D-D is controller error.
Only when I move right stick does it stop.
Did a remote calibration and it still does it.
No signal errors in Airdata
Other thing I noticed is I get a "no signal" error sometimes when flying but I disconnect cable from tablet and plug it back in and it's fine.
It doesn't say anything about doing an update and says firmware up to date.
I have these currently installed
APP=2.5.1
Remote=1.6.0+
Aircraft=1.8.80+

The beep stopping when you move the sticks has been a common symptom of needing an RC calibration. You said you did one, but did it fully complete? I ask because people often miss doing the scroll wheels.
