Red led on my remote

I already have a Vision. I added a Phantom 2 zenmuse GoPro 3+. The remote is different than the Vision remote. Things like the gimbal lever in the back etc. The difference is the color of the power light on the remote. On Vision, it is green...but on the non-Vision it is red. I put in new batteries, so is this normal?
