Rechargeables for the TX?

Anyone got a definitive verdict regarding the use of NiMH rechargeables in the tranny ? I have some 2500 mah ones that power it during setup at home , but will it have an effect on range , seeing as it's only 4.8v ? And if so,anyone have ideas on conversion to a 6v rechargeable solution such as maybe Like Li Po or similar?

I have been using Eneloop rechargeables in the Tx for Phantom Vision and have had no issues. Didn't even consider that I might.

So....

The "Ayes" to the right have it. Rechargeable it is, then. A 6v solution would have meant adapting the tranny to fit 5 cell or something, thus voiding the warranty.
