Reach destination faster = better battery?

I have a question, please answer with knowledge, not just assumptions.
If I want to reach a far destination with the drone, in which occasion my battery will last longer:
1. If I fly 72km/h and reach there pretty quickly
2. Take my time and reach there with more time by flying slower.

So when I reach the destination, in which case I'll have more battery percentage left?

My knowledge says that if you don't reach the destination within 30 minutes of flight your battery percentage will definitely be close to 0%

I find that 25 to 28mph is optimal. Do don't accelerate fast, and avoid vertical ascends and descends to maximize battery. As you fly forward at 28mph to your mission target, slowly ascend or descend to your preferred elevation if the surrounding terrain allows it.
