Today I was flying my phantom 3 advanced everything was going perfect. The battery warning came on, I brought the Phantom back and landed it . When I was carrying it over to the hood of my car I set it down and I got a compass error and I'm not sure as to why can anybody explain.

Once you put the compass near metal like the hood of your car a compass error will appear. Nothing to worry about. As soon as you move it away from the metal the message will dissappear. Just never attempt to take off near metal because your compass will be thrown out of whack and you may crash
