So while driving back home today and being disgruntled because I had to go home early because my iPad over heated on me it got me thinking. Has anyone attempted to fly with a raspberry pi machine and a external monitor? Maybe I'm over thinking this and just need to get a field monitor with hdmi input for these situations.

So I guess my real question is, what do you guys do on warmer days? It's only in the upper/mid 80's here.

Using a ipad mini2 with the dji go app and my inspire. I eventually am going to upgrade to an iPad pro but for now I'm stick with a mini2.

I would appreciate it if ANYONE has done so, I am using a Pi with a 27inch LCD and splitter to my Samsung Tablet.. BUT the issue is DJI says they are not supporting hdmi drivers for the adapter so my question is can I use the Pi as the mediator for the data signal?

Thanks in advance,
