Randomly entering fixed wing mode, can't exit, then sensor errors?

Hey Folks,

Today I was flying my Phantom 4 Standard and something strange happened (here are the logs: )

At 14m 17s I got the message "Fixed-Wing mode enabled. Current flight speed is 0.0mph, Press C2 to exit" which is strange, how does one just enter fixed wing mode at 0 MPH without going into the intelligent flight menu?

I tried pressing C2 on the controller a few times, didn't exit this fixed-wing mode because C2 is set to show battery information, so I did a RTH.

Then, at 249 feet off the ground I get Forward Obstacle Sensing is not functioning, which is also strange, because the sensors seemed to go back to normal a few seconds later.

Finally, I landed, and even when on the ground I couldn't exit fixed-wing mode. I kept pressing the red (X) button on the display, that said C2 -- seeming to indicate it'll exit fixed-wing mode, but still it did nothing. It was just stuck on the screen.

So I guess I'm wondering, how concerned should I be? Everything functioned as I expected, but the random sensors going out and coming back, and entering fixed-wing mode when I don't think I triggered it, shakes my confidence in the aircraft a bit.

This in djigo4 app ,,try switching here,,probably more luck here than my early post,,this so called fixed wing mode is a mavic thing now,,I presume dji changed it,,,if this does not change give it a gimble calibration,,fixed wing mode was removed from phantoms apparently but renamed FVP or FOLLOW,,as for obstacle avoidance playing games, the sun or bright sky will make it unhappy cause it cant see,,not really that handy once airborne so most turn it off,,down low around trees and houses , its handy ,,its just doing its thing if came good again,,no it's not nice losing faith in craft but if you got things set right it's almost flawless,,hope this points you in right place

If all else fails, delete and reinstall Go 4. Possibly a relink as well. Fixes unusual problems if other fixes don't work.
As Ian says, sensor error most likely from sun blind. Turn drone around and it will go away or turn off.
Just a reminder, if your remote ever starts beeping on startup but still flies, calibrate the sticks.
Have fun
