Radio Channel Quality: Poor?

After recently installing the latest firmware update on my P3A, I've noticed that the radio channel quality constantly bounces between "good" and "poor". Since installing the update, I flew it for the first time yesterday. I flew it yesterday and the aircraft "disconnected" after only being 200m away. WTH! Should I reinstall the firmware?

200m is a very short distance. Its like having almost no antenna or extremely high wifi noise.
