Anyone know for sure on what the motor RPM is on a P2V at full throttle? How about when it is hovering?

IIRC I was seeing RPM in the 8k to 9k range running full throttle on a bench test.

The Naza does broadcast RPM for each motor over the CAN bus. But you can only see it by hacking it or using an OSD2. 9K sounds about right.

Wow! They are moving. Must have some good bearings in there.
A tach on the display? Interesting. Maybe that would help in a "The motors just quit" type of crash. The more info one has the better one can explain why it happened. So, Dirk, not such a bad idea.

Thanks for the info.
