I heard if I upgraded the battery to the latest firmware, it will discharge itself to storage voltage after 10 days left alone, is this true? For now, I just fly the plane until there is two lights left on the LED as storage!

Yes it's true.

Pressing battery button will reset 10 day timer.

DJI estimates two days to discharge to 50% from 100% charge.

Some of the post said it depends on when the battery is being produced, older version won't be able to do that!

It takes much longer than two days to discharge the batteries from 100% to 50% for storage. When battery update 2.6 first came out I update all my batteries new and old alike and older batteries now discharge the same as the new ones. Of course for some reason that 2.6 update no longer works.

Sent DJI an email and got a reply. They requested me to send in my info and update screen cap from the assistant, after they saw the photos, they confirmed my batteries have the discharge function.
