Hello all, I'm new to the forum and only picked up my P3S last week. The quadcopter is fantastic and as I get less of the nerves I am really enjoying it. I still have one niggling worry though, my left control stick seems to stick and hold in the 'down' position if I pull it down fully. Is this how it is supposed to be set up? I worry that I'll pull it all the way down and get it stuck long enough to cut out the motors in mid-flight.

That's by design. It's supposed to help you hold a steady throttle as you're landing.

When the left stick is in the full down position, your motors will not stop until your Phantom stops descending for 3-5 seconds. Keeping the stick locked down is perfectly safe.

That's great to know, thanks for the info!
