Does anyone know if it possible to get the exact compass bearing (e.g. 279 degrees (M or True North) )of where your drone is pointing to? I am doing some survey work and getting the bearing (where the camera is pointing to) off of a P3P would be very helpful. Would this be in the log?

Yes, it is in the logs. You will need to convert them to .csv. Upload your .txt log to the link below, then download the .csv file. You will find it in there.

Fly Dawg,

Much thanks for this tip. I will definitely try this - it will be quite useful.

Fly Dawg,

I think I have found the compass heading in the field YAW(360). Strange name but it certainly appears to be the compass heading as the heading numbers line up with what would be True North on a map. Thanks again for your input!!

For the camera heading you actually need the GIMBAL_yaw value, not the IMU yaw.
