PV insurance cover

I am insured through membership of "FPVUK" Thats for £5 million public liability. That cost me about £8 for the year. I have also received a quote from "Protect my bubble.com" for gaget insurance. I have been told by them that my PV would be covered Under accidental damage in the case of a crash. And loss would be covered in case of a fly away.

The quote was for £9.99 a month, or £109.89 for the year. Not to dear for peace of mind.

That's really interesting - any excess on that policy?

I have just had a look at the quote, and there is no mention of any excess.

Hmmm, I'll have a search on them and see what people's claims experience with them is generally...

Just double checked and there is an excess of £50. Sorry about that.

Still reasonable for a total loss claim. Are they aware that the "camera" you're insuring is slung underneath whirling blades of death and regularly taken aloft upward of a couple of hundred feet?!?!
