Pursuit mode

Hi all

We have a track outside our office (we do supercar driving experiences) and we have tried to get the DJI Phantom 4 to follow a car around the track. Only problem is when the drone gets a certain distance from where it took off, which is about 480m) it always returns to take off gps position.

How do we get the drone so it doesn't return to us in persuit mode? We want it to follow the car all the way around the track and come back to the pits following the car.

I think you have beginner mode on. Go to DJI go app, then turn it off in the settings [emoji4]

In the GO 4 app settings you'll find a "enable max distance" button, I'm not distance flier, so never used it, but one position will limit you a maximum distance of 500meters. Sounds like this is what you need to check. The "beginner mode" limits to 30meters, thats not the issue.

I have amended the max distance setting. I think I had it at 1500m max. I will double chect that though.

Let us know if that worked, just curiosity since I've never had occasion to use the toggle.
