So my business partner and I decided to forgo our original plan of waiting for swarm technology to make it's way into mainstream aerial mapping, and decided to launch our OWN "swarming" campaign.
Ladies and gentlemen, I give you "a swarm of two."
Disclaimer: I know that swarming technology DOES exist in SOME platforms, but I don't have $100K to spend on drones. HA!
With much success, we managed to cut our mapping time in half by staggering our P4P's roughly 3 minutes apart. Operations went extremely smooth all day. Once we gain enough confidence, we're already talking about launching a 3rd drone.
